Lazy Sunday

Thanks to the long weekend, today has been an exceptionally lazy Sunday spent watching the cats and watching the birds.

I did rouse myself long enough to make a pot of rice, and Asha’s fabulously spicy pearl onion theeyal to eat with it. Yum!

You never stop to amaze me Linda! Looking at the picure,I am craving for some Theeyal now.Incidentally,we had your 16 bean soup for supper, kids loved it bcos it’s not spicy. Is it strange or what?!:D

Well enjoy. We had Sankranti today, made some sweets etc for lunch and had soup for dinner. It was all good, one more weekend almost gone!:))

I’m so glad the kids enjoyed the soup, Asha! I’m afraid mine won’t touch a bean, with or without spice 😉

Thanks for the wonderful recipe, and Happy Sankranti/Pongal to you all 🙂
